Find Peace & Renewal Here
Visit Miramar for the day to soak in some of the holy, healing energy here, or stay for a week and find yourself powerfully renewed. Religious and lay spiritual directors are available, and, while Miramar is a Catholic retreat center, Catholicism is in no way a prerequisite for joining us.
A CALL TO SURRENDER
In celebration of Advent, Miramar will share the spiritual wisdom of Dianne Bergant via a four-part ZOOM series!
ADVENT – A CALL TO SURRENDER explores the seasonal readings that call us to surrender to a present reality. Learning to surrender prepares us for whatever lies ahead.
Sister Dianne, CSA, is a Professor Emerita of Biblical Studies at Catholic Theological Union in Chicago. She served as president of the Catholic Biblical Association of America in 2000-01 and has been a member of the Chicago Catholic/Jewish Scholars Dialogue for more than 25 years. Sr. Dianne is presently working in the areas of biblical interpretation and biblical theology, particularly issues of peace, ecology, and feminism.

We, at Miramar Retreat Center, mirror the Society’s service to all people in all places, valuing life and diversity.
The house and grounds are very serene. Love the additions of outdoor Chapel and Rosary Path.
The food was delicious, varied and good presentation. There was always more than enough.
Sr. Margaret Tuley
I’ve been coming here for a very long time. After school closes I yearn for quiet and time alone. Miramar provides a perfect atmosphere for ‘vacation’ with God. Also, wonderful directors to help me on the ‘pilgrimages'.
Sr. Jeanne Marie
The grounds are beautiful. Everything is always clean and tidy!
Sr. Mary LeBlanc
The quiet is great, accommodations perfect, and everyone is friendly and helpful. Thanks!
Sr. Judy Guertin
This is a sacred space, and Sr. Maureen is a gifted director. Thanks to all the staff. It was a great week.
Sr. Karen Champagne, OP
Thank you so much for all the hospitality during the past week at Miramar Retreat Center. We really had a great time!! I will certainly recommend the retreat house for next year’s retreat.
M. Soledad Del Villar, Interim Campus Minister and Theology teacher, Matignon High School
Everyone respected the silence. House was wonderful, as are the grounds.
Stimulating in an easy-going kind of way. Very reflective.
Br. Paul R. Demers, S.C., D.Min
Every staff member was over the top in kindness and helpfulness.
Keep on being who you are in the beautiful charism of the Divine Word.
